Moving into our van

On the rainy day of February 22, 2021 we turned in our keys to our apartment and moved all of our stuff and our 3 pets into our van. All day it had been rainy and gloomy so our solar panels were seeming to get enough charge but my amazing wife, Destiny, was able to fix it. Then we were off to enjoy our first night living in our van as full time van lifers. We had many different options on where we wanted to go but decided on somewhere very local to us…The Beach, Santa Monica Beach, after a very long day of packing up the van and taking storage to my mom’s house plus attempting to do some organization in the van of all of our stuff we had with us we finally settled at a park overlooking the beach called  . We were able to park there overnight until 10am in the morning which is when we decided to leave. However, we definitely saw cars, rvs and vans stay past that but we believe that is when it’s time for the meter. 

We decided we wanted a better and closer view of the beach so we drove 30 minutes up the coast to Point Dume in Malibu, California and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing day by the beach. On our way there we stopped to get some coffee at Cafe Groceries at Whole foods. We did a whole lot of nothing but it is just what we needed after the few previous weeks that we had.
